SPIRIT RELEASE APPROVED BY VATICAN – WOW!

I read with great interest in my newspaper of choice – the lovely “i”, little sister of the Independent – that the Vatican has formally recognised a group of 250 priests in 30 countries who “liberate the faithful from demons”. The Congregation for Clergy approved the International Association of Exorcists.

There are several important points I’d like to make about this short snippet of news:

First, when I work with my clients, religion does not enter into it. I don’t ask what, if any, religion my clients follow, it’s irrelevant. I freely admit that my work has distinct spiritual overtones, and I do work “intuitively”, with more than a little guidance from my unseen helpers.
But given the rigid dogma of the Catholic church and their denial of the existence of exorcists in the past, this announcement is a major shift, and means that all those priests who have been helping their parishoners can now do so openly instead of covertly.

Secondly, the phraseology of the announcement is very dramatic, isn’t it. The priests “liberate the faithful from demons” and there is an International Association of Exorcists. I don’t know if this Association has just been created for the priests or if it has been going for a long time and is only now being recognised. In any event, it acknowledges first of all the presence of “demons” (I’ll come back to that) and the fact that they can be “exorcised” – exactly as that great healer Jesus did many times, according to the Bible.

Sadly the term “Exorcist” now conjures up images from the horror movie and puts people off the whole idea even more when actually it is all perfectly natural and can be dealt with very gently and easily.

When I was learning spirit release techniques, I clearly remember my mentor telling me that some 95% of people shopping in any given supermarket at any given time would have a couple of spirit “passengers”. I was amazed, as I had not realised how commonplace they were. But my own experience bears it out – at least 95% of clients that I work with have got at least a couple of “passengers”, and last year, within one month, I dealt with two clients who each had more than a dozen.

They are not all “demons” if by demons we mean evil beasties with pointy ears and a long tail. Spirit passengers are merely lost souls, spirits who for various reasons have not made the crossing from this physical world into the next realm of energy. Most commonly this is when there has not been a period when the person in the physical body has been preparing for his / her passing. When the person dies suddenly – in a car crash, perhaps or a bomb explosion or a shooting – the soul hasn’t packed its suitcase, it’s not sure where to go, it’s lost, and it will look around for another place to go. That place will be the energy field (or aura) of someone with similar or welcoming energy. Most of the time, the spirit will curl up and sleep peacefully, but sometimes it can make its presence felt – and this is when it is time to move it on.

It does not need elaborate ceremonies or hours of ritual, just a conversation, an understanding, a bit of negotiation and a smooth passage.

Would I call that “exorcising a demon”? No, not at all. I would call it getting to the root cause of an issue, dealing with it and allowing my client to move on with his / her life. All in a day’s work.

I have had some interesting cases recently, you can read them in individual posts and see for yourself the wide variety of issues that can be traced back to spirit “passengers”. CHANGING YOUR EATING HABITS

I regularly deal with clients who have serious weight issues. Some are seriously obese, some have been refused bariatric surgery – and they all have problems with food.

One of the challenges for clients who have worked with me is the way their eating habits change. They don’t want so much food, they lose their cravings for “bad” foods and they have a renewed sense of their own worth and who they really are.

Listen to these clips of just one client who has gone through this process and experienced these life changes for herself.

If you or someone you know would benefit from losing that excess weight, get in touch. Call me on 07597 020 512 or email me on:  judy@effective-hypnotherapy.co.uk . I’m always happy to have a chat, totally free and totally confidential.

THE MAGICAL WIGGLY FINGER TECHNIQUE

In a typical first session, the client will sit with their fingers draped over a large tissue box. Hardly high-tech, but very effective. It is in this way that I talk with the client’s unconscious, setting the agenda for the issues to be dealt with. The unconscious tells me which years we need to investigate, where fragments of the client’s soul had been splintered off; it tells me whether we need to check out one or ore past lives; and it guides me to any spirit passengers.

When I explain this process to my clients, some of them – most of them – are dubious about my Wiggly Finger Technique. But afterwards, they have to admit it works extremely well!

TACKLING EXCESS WEIGHT – ONE CLIENT’S STORY

I see numbers of clients who are clinically obese. Some have been refused surgical gastric bands because the operation is too risky on their hard-working hearts. Typically they will turn to Hypnotic Gastric Banding as an option, not knowing much about it but thinking it’s worth a try, as with this particular client.

When we met for an initial chat, she told me her story, which inevitably involved some traumas and sadness as well as some happiness. It became clear to me as she spoke that the traumas she had endured were still with her. I talked to her about the emotional reasons we hold on to weight. It might be because, when we were younger we were slim and attractive and had attracted a man who hurt us, physically or emotionally. Not wanting to get hurt again, we resolved at an unconscious level not to be so attractive, and so we pile on the pounds, thinking this will put men off.
Or perhaps the fat was a layer of protection against abuse or bullying. In some cases it might even be mourning for a child that was stillborn or that died very soon after birth; or even a pregnancy that was terminated and regretted.

The client looked at me in disbelief and then joy. Nobody had ever talked to her in those terms before, she told me. All she had ever heard was that she was fat, she must be lazy, eating too much, not doing enough exercise, she was just written off.
We agreed we could work together. These are full two-hour sessions and they are emotionally draining for her, but the changes are clear. We have “brought home” all those elements of her soul left behind at the times of her various traumas and she has talked with various parts of her body, including her excess weight. She tells me her confidence and self-esteem have gone through the roof and that, for the first time, she feels in control of her life. She just knows that, deep down, changes are taking place, and that these are positive, undoing all the negative messages and damage of the past, and paving the way for physical weight loss.

The work continues.  She has new insights and a totally different perspective on how this type of healing works – and it certainly is working for her!
The withdrawn, embarrassed lady whose head hung down is now blossoming into a confident, smiling lady with head held high.

Will she need a Hypnotic Gastric Band? Let’s see how efficiently the body can rid itself of the excess weight (which said it had done its job and was willing to go!). If she does decide to go ahead, she will do so in a much more positive frame of mind, knowing that she is far more in touch with every level of her being.

The body has enormous resources and wants to be healthy. When we trace the root causes of an issue, when we enter into a dialogue with the unconscious and let it guide us, then the healing process can – and does – begin.
