It was Russell Brand who said that – and he knows a thing or two about recovery.
I had not thought of myself as “breakdown assistance” before, but actually the analogy works very well. A car won’t start, or it just stops, and it is the task of the mechanic to locate the problem and put it right, so that the car runs efficiently and smoothly again. A client comes to me when he or she “won’t start” or has “just stopped” – and it is my task to locate the issue and resolve it, to get the client firing on all cylinders again.
Whereas the mechanic uses a wide range of diagnostic equipment, I go straight to the horse’s mouth, as it were. I put the client into a deep state of relaxation – some call it a hypnotic trance – and I work with their unconscious, tracing back the real underlying emotional root cause of the issue and resolving it at source.
I’ve worked with people from 18 to 80, uncovering layers of traumas and anxiety; fears, phobias and programming that have built up over the years. Releasing successive layers often leads to dramatic “pops” of progress, alongside the steady, subtle steps that support this process. All the while the intention is to give them back their power or – as Russell Brand so beautifully puts it – “to recover the person they were intended to be.”
If you know someone who needs support to get them back firing on all cylinders, give them my numbers – 01444 459 433 or 07597 020 512. I’m always happy to have a totally confidential (and totally free) no-commitment chat. Or give them a link to this website for more information.
I work from Vinings Natural Health Centre in Haywards Heath, West Sussex.
